What is Village Key?
Village Key is an exclusive club that gives you deals and discounts at local businesses. Flash your green plastic Village Key at businesses all across town (and across the country!) and receive special deals reserved for Villagers. Sign up to receive emails of all the deals Shops in your area are offering you!
Who are Villagers?
Villagers are Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Students, Neighbors, and Friends throughout your community who possess a Village Key.
What are Shops?
Shops are businesses in your area that have partnered with Village Key to offer unique deals and discounts to you – the Villager.
What Kind of Shops are in Village Key?
Come on in and see them! There are restaurants, cafes, entertainment of all sorts, retail, personal services and many more types of Shops!
Village Keys
Where Can I Get My Village Key?
You can purchase online, in-store through local retailers (check the Michiana deal page to see where they are sold), or through any school or non-profit fundraiser selling Village Keys.
How Much Is Village Key?
$20 per calendar year.
How Long Does It Last?
Village Keys are sold per calendar, meaning they expire on December 31. We’re currently selling the 2013 Village Key which expires on December 31, 2013, meaning you’ll get well over a year of use out of your Village Key!
How Big is the Village Key?
It is 3 inches long and fits conveniently on a keychain. It is made of durable plastic which won’t break under normal use.
How Quick Will My Village Key Pay for Itself?
A visit or two at Shops around town is all it should take.
I Don’t Want the Village Key on My Keychain.
That’s not a question but you can just throw it in your wallet or purse.
I Broke or Lost My Village Key. Do I Need to Buy a New One?
If you lost your Village Key, you’re outta luck. Probably some stranger somewhere is enjoying deals at Shops across town. If you break your Village Key and have the pieces, you can mail it in to us for a replacement (make sure you include contact information).

How do I learn about the deals?
We’ll keep you informed of deals on your community page, through regular emails, through Facebook, Twitter, and coming soon – a mobile phone app (iPhone and Android).
How Do I Redeem My Deal at the Shop?
Show them your Village Key! Some Shops prefer to scan the barcode on the back, others just want to see the Village Key and make sure you’re a Villager.
What if I Get a Clueless Expression When I Show My Village Key?
Don’t worry! On rare occasions it happens that an employee hasn’t been initiated on the Village Key promotion. Just ask to speak to a manager and that should take care of it.
